Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Weekend Only positions available (Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Monday). Call required - typically one weekday call per week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks. Patient ratio 1:1. End date options: January 16, January 30, or February 13.

• Epic charting system experience required
• Minimum 2 years CVOR experience required - first-time travelers accepted
• Diverse surgical case mix including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, vascular procedures, and thoracic surgeries
• Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed, including Main OR coverage
• Interdisciplinary support including respiratory and interpretation services

Requirements:

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Epic charting system experience strongly preferred
• Community hospital and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• Proficiency in cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgical procedures including scrubbing for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases
• Full compliance documentation required prior to start date to avoid orientation delays

Additional Information:

• Time off requests must be finalized at time of submission with minimal requests strongly preferred
• Holiday coverage required: candidates are expected to work holidays that fall within the assignment period per facility policy
• One holiday may be requested, though no holiday time off is strongly preferred
• Maximum 7 days of approved time off per contract
• All compliance documents must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing, with final deadline the Tuesday prior to start date
• Clinical screening required to determine fit prior to manager review
